Taxing banks a little could raise hundreds of billions

This is an initiative started in the UK to tax Banks a fraction of a percent to raise hundreds of billions of pounds to sustain important public programs, fight poverty and climate change. The question is why haven’t we done this ages ago and allowed banks and big cooperation get away with taxes and now need billions of government aid to bail them out. Visit them here to support them
