TED Prize winner and artist JR visits TEDActive giving the attendees the opportunity to connect with him and throw out ideas for collaboration. I have felt the connection to his work since the first time I saw his video 5 years ago, because his work runs deep within himself, being a trouble maker, a story teller and someone who constantly asks questions. His work is so much more about art, it is a social movement, an emotional movement. His work is about finding beauty in the ugly, in the broken, in the forgotten. My hope for his TED wish is that people could connect with 'Why are we doing what we do' rather than the 'how to do it'.
